Boiled linseed oil - stand oil

Linseed oil, filtered and boiled with traditional systems and with the addition of dryers. Resin free. Gives a soft and bright finishing on raw or stripped wood. Ideal for the preparation of oil pigments. Base and finishing oil, natural effect. Penetrates in deep and in wood grain. Bright and natural effect, but not glossy. Suggested also as a sealer for terracotta and other porous surfaces before wax treatment. The treated surface will be soft and delicate, and it will be necessary to recover it periodically to keep its natural beauty.

Instructions:

To facilitate application, for the first coatings dilute the oil with white spirit (30%). Apply uniformly with a clean cloth. After 20 minutes remove the product in excess, to prevent the surface to become sticky. Repeat the process for at least four coatings, each one after at least 24 hours form the last, decreasing progressively the quantity of thinner. For the final coating use non-diluted oil, removing again the product in excess. Wipe the surface with steel wool "0000" to increase the sheen.

Suitable for different uses, for example for the production of varnish.

Linseed oil is a common carrier used in oil paint. It can also be used as a painting medium, making oil paints more fluid, transparent and glossy.

Kitchenware Oil - Borma

Natural Oil mixture, VOC free, is ready for use and is the ideal for materials in contact with food, as kitchen table tops or salad bowls. 

Surface preparation
If the surface is particularly smooth, sand the surface with sandpaper grit 180. Make sure the wood is dry and avoid of any dirt or grease. After cleaning, let the tabletop dry for at least 8 hours.
Use
Stir very well the content of the can before and during use. Apply by brush a suitable amount of oil in an even, adequate coat. Wait approx. 20-30 minutes at 20°C as the oil penetrates into the wood. If necessary, sand the wood while the surface is still wet. Sand wet lengthwise of the wood grain with abrasive paper 320-400 grain. Then, wipe off all excess oil using a lint-free cotton cloth. Do not leave any excess oil on the surface. Polish the wood carefully using a white polishing pad, which ensures a harder wearing surface. Repeat the treatment on highly adsorbent surfaces. Complete hardening after 24 hours at 20°C. Do not let the tabletop become wet during the hardening process.
Maintenance
Use Kitchenware Oil as often as necessary to restore wood to its original beauty. Before starting the maintenance procedure, make sure wood is clean, and let the surface dry for at least 8 hours.

Danish Oil - Rustins

It is an easy to use wipe on finish, which brings out the beauty of the timber and gives a natural, open grained, soft lustrous finish. Danish Oil is a unique formulation developed by Rustins.

Danish oil contains tung oil and other ingredients which penetrate deep into all types of timber, drying to a hard, durable and water restistant seal. The oil primes, seals and finishes all woods, including interior oak, teak mahogany, pine and all veneered surfaces. It does not leave a surface film to chip or scratch. May also be used as a primer before painting and varnishing. Excellent for use on all turned work including wooden handles of kitchen equipment and tops of storage jars.
