Bao Hardwax-Stopping - extra hard

A quick hardening wax-product, which has to be melted for application. Due to the hardness, BAO HARDWAX can also be used for surfaces, which should be more resistant, such as table-tops and kitchen-doors.

Obtained by a very mild production process, complies with the requisites of the European Pharmacopoeia. Highest purity, light colour, low odour and a very low pesticide content are the main characteristics.
Thanks to the special production process the product has a 2 years expiry date, even though no preservatives are added.

Beeswax yellow cosmetic grade

A blend of different waxes with beeswax, cosmetic quality, in drops. An economic alternative to pure beeswax.

Soluble for example in Turpentine. Melting Point: 61-65 °C.

Can be used for a variety of applications, for example polishing, waxing, varnishing, for candles, creams, lotions, lipsticks, etc.

Beeswax white (bleached) in drops, excellent quality, matches requirement of the European pharmacopoeia.

Suitable for every application, e.g. candle making, for cosmetics, polishing etc.

Stearin flakes

Mixture of stearic, palmitic, oleic and a small amount of unsaturated acids. Suited for example for wood treatment, soaps, candles, etc.

Balthasar frost candle "anti-frost"

Late frosts with negative temperatures occur from time to time. It gets particularly cold between 4 a.m. until shortly after sunrise. The vegetation can already flourish and the first flowering can be observed. The flowers in viticulture and fruit growing freeze in such nights, which can lead to high crop losses. This is where the Balthasar frost candle "anti-frost" can help.

The Balthasar frost candle "anti-frost" has a high efficiency and can raise the temperatures above freezing point when used correctly. The burning time is approx. 10 hours per candle.

Balthasar frost candle "anti-frost" is produced in Central Switzerland from recycled paraffin from the candle industry.

The frost candle is delivered in a tin bucket with lid. The application is very simple. The candle must be placed on a level surface to ensure safe burning. The cardboard wick is lit in the bucket with a Bunsen burner or a torch. To extinguish the candle, the lid is put back on and the flame suffocates (please observe the burning instructions).
