Return policy

1. Cancellation

The seller acknowledges the buyers right to cancel a Business-to-Consumer contract for whatever reason up to the date 14 days after the receipt of the Goods. To cancel an order the buyer must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving the order. All Goods must be returned within 30 days and sent by a registered delivery service.  The buyer acknowledges responsibility for any postage charges incurred in the return of goods.  ADR regulations must be observed when shipping hazardous chemicals. In the interests of health and safety, goods must be returned unopened and in good condition.  In this case the original order will be refunded in full. Business-to-Business contracts cannot be cancelled once the Goods have been dispatched. The seller reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time and at our discretion in return for a full refund of the original order.  Refunds will be made within 30 days of our agreement to cancel or refund an order.

Products not authorized for return include:

  • Products not in completely resalable condition (including Products with damaged, missing or defaced labeling or packaging)
  • Chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile or any controlled products (unless products do not meet specification)
  • Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals. 
  • Refrigerated products or other perishables 
  • Products purchased on a Special Order Basis
  • Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
  • Discontinued products

2. Returns

For Business-to-Consumer orders involving multiple items, the buyer may return any unwanted part of the order for a partial refund. This refund shall not exceed the cost of the Goods returned and any original postage paid solely in relation to the Goods which are returned. For Business-to-Business orders, unwanted or unsuitable items may be returned for a refund of the cost of the Goods returned.  No refund of original shipping costs will be given. In all cases, formal notification in writing of the buyers intent to return the Goods must be provided within 14 days of receipt of the Goods.  The buyer will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the Goods.  The Goods must be returned using a registered delivery service and in good condition.  Collection of the Goods can be arranged by the seller at the buyers expense.

3. Damaged or Defective Goods

Goods which are supplied in a defective condition will be replaced or refunded at the seller’s discretion.  Please inspect your merchandise to ensure that no concealed damage has incurred. Broken or damaged items must be reported immediately by writing to the seller upon receiving your package within 5 business days. No claims will be entertained unless this condition has been met.  Where requested, the buyer agrees to supply evidence of any damage, defect or shortage before claims will be granted.  Refunds relating to any damage, defect or shortage of Goods will not exceed the original cost of the Goods. All appliances and equipment are considered as received in good condition upon signature of delivery confirmation. Please inspect these items for damage prior to signing off on the condition.

4. Refunds

Any refunds offered by the seller will be processed within 30 days of notification of the refund to the buyer.  Refunds will be made with the same payment method originally used by the buyer.
