Schmincke RAPID undercoat 1 transparent

fast drying, transparent undercoat for crackle finishes; gives an antique look to acrylic an oil paintings, but also paper (e.g. art prints), wood, glass, metal or plaster. The product is ready to use, if needet it can be diluted (e.g. with turpentine substitute).

Short application instructions:

Apply on the underground with a large pensil and let dry for aprox. 50 - 90 min., depending on the ambience conditions. Afterwards put crackle varnish 2 to the still slightly tacky undercoat. The cracks appear during the drying process, which takes few hours.
